MyBallRep ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
• Bowling Data: Information you enter about your bowling balls, tournaments, games, and scores.
• User Preferences: Your app settings and preferences.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the app to improve our services.

Third-Party Services

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information (name and email) from Google. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or other Google services.

AI Service Data

When you use our AI-powered features (AI Coach chat, Tournament Planning), the following data may be processed:

• Conversation Data: Messages you send to the AI Coach are transmitted to our servers for processing.
• Bowling Context: Your bowling ball arsenal, recent game scores, and tournament information may be included to provide personalized recommendations.
• Pattern Data: Lane pattern information from PDFs you upload for tournament planning.

This data is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI models through our secure proxy servers. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy for more details.

Purchase Information

If you make in-app purchases (subscriptions or additional tournament plans), payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We receive:

• Confirmation of your purchase and subscription status
• Transaction identifiers for purchase verification
• Subscription expiration dates

We do not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or other financial information.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the MyBallRep service
• To sync your bowling data across devices
• To provide AI-powered coaching recommendations
• To improve and optimize the app experience
• To communicate with you about updates or support

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for cloud storage and authentication, which employs enterprise-grade security measures.

Local data on your device is stored in a SQLite database and remains on your device unless you choose to sync with the cloud.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• With your consent
• To comply with legal obligations
• To protect our rights or the safety of users

Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate MyBallRep:

• Supabase: Cloud database and authentication services. Your account data and synced bowling information is stored on Supabase servers. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Anthropic (Claude AI): AI processing for coaching recommendations and tournament planning. Conversation data is processed but not retained for training. Anthropic Privacy Policy
• Google Sign-In: Optional authentication method. Google Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management. Handles purchase verification and subscription status. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Payment processing for subscriptions and in-app purchases. Subject to Apple and Google privacy policies.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data: View all data associated with your account within the app.
• Correct inaccurate data: Edit your bowling balls, games, and tournament information at any time.
• Delete your account and associated data: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data through the app settings or by contacting us.
• Export your data: Download a copy of your bowling data in a portable format.
• Opt out of optional data collection: Use the app in offline mode without cloud sync.
• Cancel subscriptions: Manage or cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play Store at any time.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

• Your personal data and bowling records are deleted from our servers within 30 days.
• AI conversation history is not stored permanently and is deleted after processing.
• Anonymized usage analytics may be retained for service improvement.
• Transaction records may be retained as required by law for financial reporting.

Children's Privacy

MyBallRep is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
