Welcome to MyBallRep. By using our mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MyBallRep ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

MyBallRep is a bowling management application that allows users to:

• Track and manage their bowling ball arsenal
• Record tournament and game scores
• Receive AI-powered coaching recommendations
• Sync data across devices (with an account)

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Upload malicious code or harmful content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any data you enter into the App (bowling scores, ball information, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you.

6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

6.1 Service Tiers

MyBallRep offers the following service tiers:

• Free Tier: Includes 5 lifetime AI Tournament Plans and unlimited AI Coach chat.
• Pro Subscription ($5.99/month): Includes 5 AI Tournament Plans per week and unlimited AI Coach chat.
• Extra Tournament Plans ($4.99): One-time purchase of 5 additional AI Tournament Plans.

6.2 Billing and Renewal

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

6.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain Pro access until then.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly.
• Unused tournament plans from one-time purchases do not expire and are non-refundable.

6.4 Tournament Plan Usage

• Free tier plans are lifetime allocations and do not reset.
• Pro tier weekly plans reset every Sunday at midnight (UTC).
• Purchased extra plans are used only after your tier's included plans are exhausted.

7. AI Coaching Features

AI features are powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. Your interactions with AI features are subject to usage limits based on your subscription tier. AI Coach chat is unlimited for all users. Tournament Plan generation is limited as described in Section 6.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user data), is owned by MyBallRep and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (such as Google for authentication, Anthropic for AI features, and RevenueCat for purchase management). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYBALLREP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyBallRep and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Termination does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of a subscription period.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by other means. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyBallRep regarding the App.
